The website eobcsettlement.com is regarding a settlement between consumers with a consumer checking account with Bank of America. The bank apparently deducted $35 from these customers account as a penalty for Extended Overdrawn Balance.
The court has not yet decided in favor of any of the party. If you want to be a part of the settlement, you don’t need to do anything. If the money was deducted from your account and if the court believes that the consumer side is right. Then, you will automatically receive a payment in the form of cash, or debt reduction or account credit.
However, if you want to bring a separate lawsuit against the bank, then you need to exclude yourself from the settlement. You can exclude yourself till April 20, 2018. You must have received a letter or email regarding this, if the parties involved in the lawsuit thinks that you are entitled to a payment.
The final decision in this matter will be taken on June 18, 2018. You can visit eobcsettlement.com by clicking here.
I have been and always a victim of this BOA $35 extended overdraft fee .I have always raised concerns several times as a customer with a checking account but the bank response vaguely is always that “it’s the bank policy”
yes include me please and thank you

Yes, include me !!!
I was a member of BOA from 2006 until November 2017 because of all of the overdraft charges I was receiving. I was REALLY overcharged when I lived in Las Vegas, but I could not find the old paperwork. I finally got tired of the obvious overcharges, where they would run the biggest bill so they could overcharge for two or three smaller ones. Please add me to this action even though I am not presently a member.

BANK OF AMERICA OVER CHARGE ME MANY OVERDRAFT FEES !
This is the reason I almost closed my account! I am looking to go to a credit union soon. I really hope we get our fair share!
I Always feel getting a overdraft fee of 35 dollar was a little to much
Yes include me…they always overcharge me for about 3 years, since 2012
please keep me informed about the process.

They haven’t did a update to their page and if you call the only number provided it’s a recording
when are we getting payment if they pay us back for all five years they owe me about 4000 since it was up to four of this charges a month they would even process the extended charge then put my deposit in
There has been a appeal. A outside org. has found out that the lawyers supposedly representing the consumers, were going to receive $7700 a hour and we would probably get $100 at best. We would not get back the total amount of overdrafts we paid.
Add me in too.
My name is James Jaddahsr I have an account with the bank of America. I have been a victim of over drift I want be part of the settlement .
Hopefully we will something back.
